The REAL reason No. 10

Okay folks, okay, Here it is.

This will convince you why you should play pool, really.

Listen. Myths and rumours are in abundance in the pooling arena. One of them is that pool is an expensive sport. I usually laugh at that statement, but not anymore. Those who sighed and say that pool is an expensive sport are indeed merely taking things at face value. Yeah, i agree. $4.80 an hour isn't really cheap. But hold on a second. Think further. Deeper.

Okay, tell me honestly, what will you be doing if you are not playing pool? I hear you. What is that? Sleep?

Ok, so u guys will sleep rather than have an exciting game of pool? Thinking that sleeping is less expensive than playing pool? Let me prove you wrong.

Warning: Before you read this, please keep an open mind. Ok good.

Let's say you are Osnan. And you prefer to sleep instead of playing pool. Cool, but hold on a second. Don't get too excited.

As you sleep, you feel humid. You feel hot. Wanting a comfortable sleep, you switched on the fan. That costs $0.678 per kwh (Source: Ministry of Electricity). Using that reliable figure, a powerful fan will on average, costs you about over a dollar per hour. Lets just take it as $1.( I studied a little bit of accountancy and came upon the law of prudence and conservatism, so i'm applying it right now)

Moving on to another point, it hit me that scientists and researchers in Geneva have made a breakthrough discovery that when a normal human being sleeps, the stomach works harder. So, when he wakes up, it has been scientifically proven that the stomach( not including the intestines) will be 98.69% EMPTY. So, in other words, he will become hungry and searches for food. He buys Nasi Ayam, costing $3 and a decent drink, costing $1.(Inflation is accounted for in the figures). That would have cost $4!! Adding on to the electricity consumption of the fan, sleeping would have easily cost a whopping $5.

Which goes back to the main point. Compare this to the $4.80 per hour charges for a world-class pool table. I have manage to show and prove to you logically that sleeping is easily MORE expensive than playing pool by 20 cents.

So, the next time you want to save 20cents, think of playing pool. Hey, dont laugh. Saving 20 cents daily will easily earn you almost a million dollars annually. I am not joking, u go do the mathematics if you dont believe me. ( Don't do lah, just listen). Imagine, becoming a milllionaire just by playing pool. Fuyoo.
